VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / VEHICLE MECHANIC
Basic Salary: Up to £33,000 (DOE)
OTE: Up to £45,000
Location: Hinckley
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00
1 in 4 Saturdays 08:30 - 12:30
We are working with a well-established dealership seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic to join their growing workshop team. This is a great opportunity for a qualified technician looking to develop within a professional environment that values quality work and first-time fixes.
This role would suit a Service Technician, Diagnostic Technician or MOT Tester looking for a fresh challenge.
The Role - Vehicle Technician
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
- Diagnostics and fault finding (mechanical & electrical)
- Brake, suspension, clutch and timing belt replacement
- Engine repairs and component replacement
- Pre-delivery inspections (PDI)
- Completing job cards and service records accurately
- Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
You will be working within a structured workshop environment with clear processes and realistic productivity expectations.
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) - Essential
- Minimum 2 years' workshop experience
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- MOT Licence - Desirable but not essential
- Own tools required
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
