Week 2- 7:00AM -17:30PM

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop in Guildford.

This is an opportunity for a HGV technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.
My client needs someone who is driven, hard working and has proven experience involved in the Waste industry. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career. Ongoing training and progression must be important to the individual.

The HGV Technician involves:

·Repairing company vehicles (HGV &LCV) in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Twelve weekly inspections.
·Preparation for MOT.
·provide road side assistance to broken down vehicles
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.
·To be flexible with as you may be required to cover sites


Required for this HGV Technician role:

·You must be a qualified HGV Technician OR 5 Years of HGV experience is required
·experience on working on heavy commercial vehicles involved in the Waste industry
·Good understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrics
·Diagnostic experience
·The ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
·HGV Class 1 or 2 licence essential for the role
·Must have own tools
