Location: Warrington
Basic Salary: Up to £35,500
OTE: £45,000 - £47,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (8am-12pm)
 
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diagnostic Technician & MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established workshop in Warrington. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys complex fault-finding, takes pride in their work, and is looking for strong earning potential alongside a healthy work-life balance.
 
The Role
·Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
·Inspecting vehicles and accurately diagnosing faults
·Diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical issues
·Repairing or replacing components as required
·Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories (immobilisers, alarms, stereos, etc.)
·Road testing vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards
·Completing routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, air filters, etc.)
·Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment
·MOT Tester Licence - Class 4 and 7 (essential)
 
What We're Looking For
·Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
·Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
·MOT Tester licence - Class 4 and 7 (essential)
·Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
·A positive attitude with a desire to progress and upskill
·Full UK manual driving licence (subject to checks)
