Salary for the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic - £32,760 - £35,000 (DOE) + OVERTIME

Working hours:

***DAY SHIFT*** Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00 Occasional Saturday's


Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Halifax

My client has over 400 UK sites collectively and over 1000 vehicles. 

This HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic role offers the opportunity to work on various vehicles – tippers, loaders, side loaders, plant, heavy plant and bin lorries.


This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
Experience on hydraulics and bin lift technologies is an advantage
