HGV TECHNICIAN

Salary – £11.00ph - £14.00ph
Working Hours – 40 hours per week
Location - Peterborough

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter/ HGV Mechanic

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Carry out routine inspections maintenance service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques including trailers
·Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
