Compliance Controller job details:
Salary: £32,000pa - £36,000pa
Location: Erith
Working Hours:Monday - Friday 07:00-16:30
 
I am working alongside a large VMU looking for a compliance controller to join the team and assist the site manager with the daily running of a successful workshop.
 
In the role you will be required too:
·Manage daily planning, scheduling, and ordering to ensure efficient workshop operations.
·Review and allocate Repair Orders, monitor repair progress, and coordinate additional work as needed.
·Minimise vehicle downtime by actively managing Vehicle Off Road (VOR) cases.
·Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements within the workshop.
·Review and approve completed work and compliance documentation, handing over clear reports to customers.
 
To be successful within the role you will need:
·Knowledge of HGV compliance and workshop operations.
·Experience in planning, scheduling, and ordering within a workshop environment.
·Confident in customer and supplier management.
·Technical knowledge from qualifications or hands-on experience.
·Familiar with Dealer Management Systems and workshop software (DMS, XENTRY, Truckfile).
·Good understanding of how quality and compliance drive business success.
