Workshop Supervisor Job Details
Basic Salary: £46,800
Working Hours:Week 1 Monday-Friday - 6am - 2.30pm
Week 2 Monday - Friday 2.30pm - 11pm
Saturday (1in4) 7am - 12pm (at time and a half)
Location: Bedford
 
For the  role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment, with prior supervisory experience. You will be responsible for looking after two other technicians and making the decisions to enable the running of a smooth shift consistently.
Responsibilities of a Workshop Supervisor
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Organize team workloads and communicate with shift.
·Health ans safety of shift members
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·All work is carried out in a time scale acceptable to the customer
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
·To ensure all paperwork and general workshop duties are completed.
 
Skills and Qualifications of a Workshop Supervisor
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician.
·HGV licence is essential.
·Prior supervisory experience.
