Successful candidate will have experience within LGV/HGV. Main requirement for this particular role is to have fitting/ mechanical experience.

Job description:
·Overseeing 6 fitters and fleet up to 150 vehicles including LGVs
·Allocating work to the technicians within the Workshop
·Keeping our vehicles safely on the road so our street-side operatives can carry out their duties
·Monitoring the work of the team ensuring that work is accurate and delivered to the required standards, regulations, and deadlines.
·Ensuring that comprehensive records are maintained using the appropriate computerised systems
·Working with Health and Safety regulations and ensuring the Workshop is a safe place to work
·Looking after repair side of operations
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards
·Good housekeeping routines

Skills:
·Fitting / Mechanical experience (proven record – 5 years experience)
·A full and valid UK Driving Licence
·HGV class 2 driving licence (advantage)
·Ability to work under pressure and supervise a busy Workshop
·Experience in similar role
·HGV background
·Organizational skills
·Attention to details


Hours of work for this Workshop Supervisor role
would be between 07:30am & 18:00pm times differ (Flexibillity Required)

Starting Salary: £30,000 pa + Bonus
