Salary of the Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter – £35,000pa - £40,000pa plus OTE

Working Hours of the Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter - Week 1 - 6:00am - 15:00pm, Week 2 14:00pm - 23:00pm

Location - Croydon

My client are looking for a Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter required for a thriving Light Commercial Franchise for their Redbridge Depot.

Motivated and Enthusiastic Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter for our successful client.

As a Enthusiastic Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner employing such skills and knowledge as may be required, including the ability to diagnose fault with the minimum supervision.


Responsibilities of the Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter:

·Vehicle Inspections
·General Servicing
·Correction / repair of vehicle defects
·Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
·MOT Preparation / Presentation
·Completion of all required paperwork
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.



Skills and Qualifications of the Van Technician / LCV Technician / HGV Technician / LCV Mechanic / Van Mechanic / HGV Fitter / LCV Fitter:

·Required to work in busy workshop
·Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and Vehicle diagnostics
·Work to include carrying out service and maintenance of customers vehicles
·Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
·Driving licence Essential
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician is an advantage
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
