Trailer Technician - Stockport

Salary: Up to £30,000 + Overtime up to 1.5 per hour

Motivated and Enthusiastic Trailer Technician required for a thriving workshop in Stockport

This is an opportunity for a HGV technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.
My client needs someone who is driven, hardworking and has proven experience. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career.

Trailer Technician involves:
·Must be a "Time Served" technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications.
·Must have a technical background /experience in trailer repairs and welding.
·High level of enthusiasm & good communication skills and the ability to work independently.
·Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
·Have a customer and team centric mindset and high level of professionalism.
·Good organizational skills and ability to be able to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
·IRTEC licence, Wabco, Haldex, Knorr Bremnse, training is advantageous.
·A Class 1 Licence is essential
·Knowledge of low loader trailers is essential

20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays
Overalls & PPE Provided.

Required for this Trailer Technician role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or IMI) or Time served , IRTEC licence
·Driving License Class 1 ad 2
·Trailer experience
·Diagnostic experience
