Location: Rugby

Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 Basic + Overtime

Hours: 2 weeks Early shift / 2 Weeks late shift - Rotating - 45 hours a week

My client, one of the UK's leading manufacturers in the trailer, body and specialist vehicle industries is looking to employ a skilled Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic for their busy, newly built state of the art site in Warwickshire.

Responsibilities of Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic:

• Carry out Trailer inspections/MOT preparations to approved industry standard.
• Carry out repairs to trailers as required to standard.
• Tail lift & double deck LOLER inspections and repairs where required.
• Welding/fabrication work.
• General housekeeping within the workshop.
• Demonstrate an ability to work with and assist other staff members as part of a team.
• All jobs cards and relevant paperwork correctly filled out.
• Diagnostic and repair of ABS/EBS systems
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring systems.

Requirements of Trailer Technician / HGV Technician / Trailer Mechanic / HGV Mechanic:

• City & Guilds/NVQ level 2 qualification or IRTEC certificated.
• Minimum of 5 years previous experience within the industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous experience with Tail lift & Double deck preferable.
• Previous electrical diagnostic experience preferable.
• Must hold a valid driving licence
