My client is a large independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the North West for all makes and types of commercial vehicles and LCVs.

They have a reputation for quality and a 97% first time MOT pass-rate (above national average)

They are now looking to recruit an experienced Service Controller to join their Hyde depot. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Service Controller to join a growing business!

Service Controller role:

·To manage the office,
·Liaising with the Workshop Foreman to ensure a profitable, efficient & safe site that meets or exceeds customer expectations and targets.
·Responsible for office staff
·Quality
·Efficiency
·Health & Safety of the employees, visitors, workshops & site.

The Service Controller role involves:

·Planning the daily workload of the office & drivers to ensure customer requirements are met
·Liaising with customers regarding service schedules, updates, authorities and completion of work
·Raising of job cards, estimates & invoices as required and update status of jobs on the system in an accurate and timely fashion
·Liaising with the Workshop Foreman to ensure that times booked to jobs are monitored and parts are ordered and available for the job at the correct time
·Processing purchase orders accurately
·Maintaining discipline in the whole site
·Ensuring that the site is tidy, housekeeping standards are maintained and site is secure
·Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in a proper fashion
·Ensuring all Health & Safety arrangements are in place
·Promoting Health and Safety within the depot
·Attending management meetings
·Reporting on the KPI’s for the depot
·Undertake any reasonable duty specified by the Operations Manager & Company Directors.
