HGV Class C Recovery Driver

Salary: £26,800 including bonus
Hours: 2 weeks Rota Monday to Friday 7am – 4pm & 10am – 7pm and rota for Saturdays 7am – 12pm (overtime)
Location: Welwyn Garden City
Basic salary: £25,000

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Class C Recovery Driver required for a busy Accident Repair Centre.

Duties as a HGV Driver Class C / HGV Class 2 Driver will include:
·To ensure the efficient and safe delivery of vehicles to agreed destinations
·To communicate with colleagues to improve efficiency
·To have due regard for Health and Safety of others whilst undertaking your duties
·To drive in a safe and responsible manner and notify management when vehicles need servicing or repair
·To observe Company procedures regarding accidents and insurance claims and to report any incidents relating to the Company vehicle without delay
·To treat all customers and suppliers in a courteous manner and to promote at all times the professional image of the Company

Requirements as a HGV Driver Class C / HGV Class 2 Driver will include:

·You must have good communication skills to communicate credibly with our customers, colleagues and senior management
·You will have a good knowledge of the area local to the repair centre.
·You will have a passion for customer service, have a process orientated approach and be professional and well presented
·You will be a competent, organised customer focused driver with good knowledge of roads & motorways across the UK
·You must have a full, valid and clean UK Driving Licence including Class 'C' LGV Licence / HGV class 2 qualifications and have a valid Driver CPC
