£13.72 per hour

Our client is recruiting for an PSV Technician / Fitter / HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / PCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Vehicle Inspector / Mechanical Fitter to join their busy team at their Thurso Depot to assist in the maintenance and repair of their fleet of PSV and coaches.

The role is to work within the workshop dealing with repair and service of commercial vehicles in a timely manner and to the highest standards as set by the company and DVSA, it's a busy workshop so plenty of opportunity.

Main duties of the PSV Technician / Fitter / HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / PCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Vehicle Inspector / Mechanical Fitter:

·Diagnosis and rectification of vehicle faults
·Recognising and reporting component defects
·Taking preventative measures to maintain the reliability and safety of the fleet
·All associated paperwork
·Inspection and maintenance on the fleet

Requirements for the PSV Technician / Fitter / HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / PCV Mechanic / Mechanic / Bus Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Vehicle Inspector / Mechanical Fitter:

·PCV / PSV or HGV City & Guilds
·BTEC
·NVQ Level 3
·Electrical experience and advantage
·Full UK Licence
·HGV / PSV Licence is an advantage
·Team player who can work unsupervised
