Location: Cheshire

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000(DOE)

My client, a national Plant Hire company is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter / Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician to join their customer focused team in Cheshire.

Types of machines the Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter / Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician would work on:

·Mini Excavators from Micro to 8 ton,
·Tracked Excavators from 13 ton to 20 ton,
·Wheeled Excavators,
·JCB 3cx Backhoes,
·Wheeled Loading Shovels,
·Telescopic Handlers,
·Integrated Man Baskets,
·RTFL, dumpers, rollers and bowsers.

Duties & Responsibilities of Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter / Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician:

·Carry out routine maintenance and breakdown repairs to Plant 
·Fault diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical and electrical faults
·Undertake minor and major repair works as directed
·Maintain, repair and service all equipment as per manufacturer’s specifications
·Make sure work is carried out in a safe manner and equipment and facilities supplied are used in a way to enable this
·Attend breakdowns on all sites as required at any other designated site
·Knowledge of electronics / vehicle electrics and hydraulics
·Experience in welding and fabrication
·Highly capable in diagnostics and repairs of all different aspects of plant and vehicles. Minimum of 5 years experience on all aspects of heavy and light plant
The successful Mobile Plant Fitter / Mobile Fitter / Plant Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician will have:
·A professionally recognised qualification in Heavy vehicle/Plant Maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
·All relevant in date CPCS ticket/s for operating machinery on site
·You will ideally hold an in date CSCS card
·Must have own tools/equipment for maintaining and servicing heavy plant.
·Experience in a similar role within the last 3 years
·A full UK Driving licence
