Weekdays - Monday to Friday

Salary of the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician :
£38,000 - £39,000pa + Overtime

Location: Leicestershire

My client, a successful commercial hire company, are recruiting for an Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician Fitter for their depot covering Leicestershire.

Key responsibilities for the Mobile HGV Technician/ Mobile HGV Fitter include:

·Test vehicles and diagnose faults
·Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure
·Service, adjust and repair vehicles/components
·Complete job records
·Order replacement parts
· Participate in providing standby and callout cover
·Ensure vehicles and plant are maintained in line with the service planner

Essential Qualities for the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician:

·Previous experience in HGV mechanics / Plant engineer experience
·Qualification in HGV maintenance and repair eg City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3)
·Driving licence (preferably HGV, CAT C )
·Computer literate
·Ability to work well under pressure
·Team player
·Ability to use own initiative
·Literacy and numeracy skills
·Attention to detail
·Problem solving skills
·Available for overtime/ Flexible with shifts
