Location: Mobile Covering Edinburgh and surrounding

My client, a successful commercial company, are recruiting for a Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician / Fitter / Fleet Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile LCV Technician to cover customer sites within the Edinburgh and surrounding

Key responsibilities for the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician / Fitter / Fleet Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile LCV Technician:

·Test vehicles and diagnose faults
·Attend customer sites
·Recognise and report vehicle/component defects or symptoms of impending failure
·Service, adjust and repair vehicles/components
·Complete job records
·Order replacement parts


Essential Qualities for the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician / Fitter / Fleet Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile LCV Technician:

·Previous experience in mechanics (preferably Light Commercial or Heavy Vehicle)
·Qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair (preferably heavy vehicle) eg City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 or Level 2)
·Driving licence
·Computer literate
·Ability to work well under pressure
·Team player
·Ability to use own initiative
·Literacy and numeracy skills
·Attention to detail
·Problem solving skills
·Available for overtime


Desirable Qualities for the Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Light Commercial Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician / Fitter / Fleet Engineer / Mobile Fleet Engineer / Mobile LCV Technician:
·Commercial mechanical experience
