Van Technician

Salary: £25,000 up to £29,000 + OT

Working hours for the Van Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm (Flexible start and finish times)
Saturday mornings available every Saturday as overtime 8:00am - 12:00pm

Motivated and enthusiastic Van Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician required for a successful and expanding workshop

As a Van Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner.

Van Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician general duties:

•Vehicle Inspections
•General Servicing
•Correction / repair of vehicle defects
•Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
•MOT Preparation / Presentation
•Completion of all required paperwork
•Fault diagnosis

Van Technician / LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Mechanic / Technician skills and experience:

•Required to work in busy workshop
•Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and vehicle diagnostics
•Experience working with Texa and SnapOn Modus diagnostic systems an advantage
•Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
•Driving licence essential
•Someone who would like to do overtime would be a benefit for this role
•A flexible individual with a can do attitude
