LCV TECHNICIAN
My client is looking for a motivated technician to work on a variety of vehicles such as buses, vans and cars of all shapes with a mix of depot based work and mobile.
Annual Salary - £38,000
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday - 08:00-16:30 - No Weekends
Location - Dartford
Responsibilities of a LCV Technician
·Carry out programmed vehicle Safety Inspections, servicing, maintenance, and repairs in-line with DVSA's Guide to maintaining roadworthiness. Workshop and on-site when needed
·Correction / repair of vehicle defects
·Engine / Gearbox repairs
·MOT Preparation / Presentation
·Completion of all required paperwork
·Comply with site instructions and Health & Safety regulations whilst on company & customer premises
Skills and Qualifications of a LCV Technician
·Qualified and experienced Motor Vehicle technician (Commercial vehicle experience desirable but not essential)
·Tail lift experience: LOLER, inspection, service, and repair
·MOT Tester of classes 4, 5L and or 7
·Air Conditioning and Eberspacher night heaters service and repair
·Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
