HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £25,000pa
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30
 
Maybe required to work the occasional Saturday morning, upon business demands.

Location: West Bromwich
 
The required person will need to pride themselves on delivering the highest standards and have a keen eye for detail, who understands the expectations placed by the customers when they purchase a premium brand product. The role is not all about prior experience, we are looking for the right person with the desired attitude and behaviours.
 
Roles & Responsibilities:
·To conduct exterior detailing to a range of vehicles and their configurations for the Used Sales Department
·Detail the interior of vehicles ready for repurchase.
·Carry out removal of aftermarket components to ready vehicles for repurchase.
·Conduct minor cosmetic component replacements to ready vehicles for repurchase.
·Remove vinyl wraps and liveries and refinish (polish) paintwork to suit.
·Move HGV vehicles around the yard and sales area.
·Work with the Used Sales Team to ensure the product is delivered right first time, on time.
·Keep their work area clean and tidy.
·Participate in market leading training.
·Work to company health and safety regulations
·Work as part of team
 
The person:
·Someone who is punctual and has a can-do attitude with a keen eye for detail.
·Someone who is passionate to learn and is consistent in their delivery of a quality product.
·Someone who can work as part of a team to provide the customer with a premium product.
·Someone with good communication skills
·Someone who likes an active role and variation in their working life.
·Someone with a UK car license and is prepared to learn to manoeuvre HGV vehicles on site.
