HGV Technician job details

Basic Salary: £40,950 - £44,640 (£17.50 - £19.00 per hour) - Overtime worked Monday - Saturday paid at time and a half

Overtime worked on a Sunday & bank holiday paid at double time.

Working Hours: 06:00 - 14:30 Monday - Friday Week One
14:00 - 22:00 Monday - Friday Week Two
Saturday morning on the back shift from 07:00 - 12:00
 
Location: Northampton

I am currently recruiting for a Skilled & experienced HGV Technician to work on a full time / permanent contract for one of my leading clients in the Northampton area.
 
For the HGV Technician role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician;

·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Inspection, Preparation and Presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection (If you have a truck licence) Not essential.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Qualifications required for the HGV Technician role;

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified Technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
