HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic
 
Salary - £17.00 - £18.00 per hour - Overtime at time and a half
 
Working Hours - Shifts
Week 1: 06:00am - 14:30pm
Week 2: 12:30pm - 22:00pm
Monday - Friday
 
Location - Birmingham

Contract Type - FULL TIME / PERMANENT ROLE
 
Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic is required for a successful workshop.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults using computerised diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Experienced in all aspects of modern Truck and Trailer repairs
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Fault finding & diagnostic experience
