Salary of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller: up to £19.50 per hour DOE

Working hours of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller:
Permanent Late shift / split shift 40 hours per week

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller required for a successful workshop in Dartford

This is an excellent opportunity for a HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

Reporting to the Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for supporting all night shift technicians to carrying out maintenance and service routines, repairs, and testing of vehicles in a professional and safe manner. You need to be able to supervise a team whilst being a team player, able to work to deadlines and have the ability to use your own initiative.

The successful candidate must have supervisory experience working in this sector and a passion for great customer service. Main dealer or fleet experience is advantageous, however main dealer training is available to the successful candidate.

The HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller role involves:

·Repair and Servicing of HGV Vehicles
·Previous Experience Working as an HGV Technician
·Ability to work to deadlines
·Ability to supervise a team in order to meet deadlines
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Night Shift Supervisor / Shift Supervisor / Workshop Controller role:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·Valid Drivers Licence and a good driving record
·Good communication skills, both in writing and verbal
·Punctuality, flexibility and reliability are key to this role
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
