Job role: HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
 
Contract Type: Full time / permanent role
 
Depot location: Oldbury, West Midlands
 
Hourly rate: £17.94 per hour with overtime paid at time and a half
 
Working hours: 06:00 - 14:30 / 14:30 - 23:00 Monday - Friday, one week earlies, one week lates

My client, a well established Heavy Vehicle Fleet Maintenance Organisation is actively looking to add a skilled, experienced and qualified HGV Technician to join their existing team in the Oldbury area.
 
Working in a team of highly experienced HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following;
 
Truck & trailer inspections
Defect repairs
Pre-planned servicing and maintenance - Truck, Trailer & Tail Lift
Fault finding and diagnostics
PMI's
MOT preparation
MOT presentation if you hold a C+E driving licence - Not essential
 
In order to qualify, you will be required to provide the following:
 
Industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, IMI etc)
Detailed knowledge on maintenance of modern trucks, trailers and tail lifts
Full car driving licence as a minimum - a C+E licence would be ideal but not essential
