Location: Eastbourne
Salary: £31,000pa up to £35,000pa plus OTE (dependant on levels & qualifications)

Working hours:
Week 1 Days: Monday to Friday 07:00am - 15:30pm. Saturday 07:00am - 13:00pm
Week 2 Lates: Monday to Friday 15:30pm - 00:00am

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a thriving workshop in Eastbourne.

This is an opportunity for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Minimum of NVQ Level 3 is essential 
·Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial vehicle workshop desired
·Trailer experience
·Diagnostic experience
