My client is a specialist in vehicle rescue and recovery, delivering a first-class emergency service.
 
The Depot is just 5 years old with state of the art equipment and is based in Manchester. The client is extremely responsive to both clients and staff needs and requests.
 
They are looking for an experienced HGV technician. This role is mainly depot based, however, you will also attend call outs (quite often at Liverpool and Manchester Airport)
 
You must be to diagnose faults without relying on diagnostic equipment as many of the vehicles are older and need the skills of an experienced HGV Technician to find the faults. 
Carring out services and repairs of Airport Ground Support Equipment/ HGV’s / Cars/ Vans. You will be producing job cards and completing Service sheets using a tablet and the in house system.
The candidate:
 
·Level 2 or 3 or City & Guilds equivalent
·Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of HGV’s
·Ensure jobs are completed on schedule with work records compiled accurately.
·Own Tools
·CRC cleared
·5 years work history, with references
·Experience of all types of welding is desired but not essential
·Class 1 License
