HGV Technician Job Details
Basic Salary: £43,407pa / £18.55 Per Hour
Working Hours: Monday-Friday - 06:00-15:30
Location: Birmingham
 
Overtime is at time and a half
 
My client is looking for a qualified commercial vehicle technician to work in a modern working facility/purpose built site with air condition, heating and an extremely well equipped workshop on a permanent early shift.

Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Hydraulic experience
