Annual earnings:£42,000 basic salary + overtime - Yearly earnings over £50,000
 
Location:Swadlincote
 
Shift rotation:4 on 4 off Days - 06:00 - 18:00
 
Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician is required for a successful workshop based at my clients site in Swadlincote.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.
 
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician
 
·Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults using compuerised diagnostic equipment.
·Engine / Gearbox refurbishment and repair
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.


Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Technician
 
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified HGV Technician
·Detailed knowledge of modern repair methods across Trucks and Trailers
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic & Fault Finding experience
