Working Days / Hours:Monday - Thursday Week One - 06:00 - 18:00
Tuesday - Friday Week Two - 06:00 - 18:00
Basic annual salary:£44,252 - with overtime, £55,000 +
My client, a specialist Truck and Trailer maintenance business is actively recruiting for HGV Technicians at their state of the art facility in the tamworth area.
They currently have day shift vacancies available on a Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday shift pattern.
Daily duties of an HGV Technician:
- Inspections on tractor units and trailers along with tail lifts if you have tail lift experience
- Repairs on defects identified on the initial inspections
- General Servicing
- Reactive Maintenance
- PMI's
- MOT preparations
- MOT presentations if you hold a heavy vehicle licence
- Updating all required paperwork
Essential Qualifications and experience required:
- Fully qualified HGV Technician (NVQ / City & Guilds or Industry equivalent)
- Detailed knowledge of modern Truck and Trailer maintenance
- Diagnostic & fault finding experience
Desirable but not essential experience:
Tail Lift inspection, service & maintenance
Class 1 HGV Driving licence
