Job role: HGV Technician
 
Depot location: Buxton, Derbyshire
 
Salary: £22.00 - £22.50 per hour  (£457,60 - £46,800 annually) with the quarterly bonus and overtime, you can expect to earn £50,000 - £55,000

Hours:  Friday, Saturday & Sunday - 19:00 - 07:00 & 19:00 - 23:00 on Mondays


Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician required for a thriving workshop in Buxton, Derbyshire.

This is an opportunity for a HGV Technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.

My client needs someone who is driven, hard working and has proven experience. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career.

The HGV Technician role involves:
Inspections on client vehicles to identify defects
Defect repairs that have been identified of the initial inspection
Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.
MOT Inspections & Preparation.
Diagnosis of vehicle faults using computer based diagnostic equipment.
Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager.

Required for this HGV Technician role:

Level 3 qualifications
HGV technician experience is essential.
Driving License Class 1 or 2 would be very beneficial for this role but not essential
Fault Finding & Diagnostic experience
