HGV Technician
To maintain and repair the vehicle fleet to ensure that we can fulfil our Operators Licence requirements keeping the fleet safe and legal.
You must be an experienced technician with a broad set of skills who is able to work with independently
JOB KPI’s for HGV Technician
· Percentage of vehicles inspected on time
· MOT 1st time pass rate
· SLP (Safe Loading Pass) 1st time pass rate
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES - HGV Technician
· To carry out vehicle safety inspections on a routinely basis
· To conduct general maintenance and repair on the fleet as required
· To carry out MOT preparation on all vehicles
· To take vehicles to MOT
· To improve the status quo to procedures and current working conditions
· To diagnose and repair vehicles in cooperation with the Transport Manager (O-license holder)
· To report any incidents or issues to the Transport Manager at the earliest possibility
· To maintain a tidy work environment
·PACKAGE - for HGV Technician
· Salary depending on experience and industry average
· 40-45 hours per week. O/T as and when business requires.
· Monday – Friday 08:00 - 17:00 Saturday and Sunday Overtime dependent on workload
· 20 days hol + 8 statutory bank holidays + 1 extra for each 5 years worked
· All training costs must be repaid to the company if you choose to leave within 2 years of the training taking place
· BUPA
· Annual profit share
· 6 month probationary period
