£30,000 - £32,000 plus plenty Overtime

Location: Swindon

Hours for the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / PSV Technician:
Late shift

Our busy client is looking for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / PSV Technician to join their busy main dealer team, working a rotating shift, due to an increase in business.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday with lots of overtime available, paid at time and a half. Those with LCV experience who want to obtain HGV experience will be considered.

HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / PSV Technician Duties:

Working as an HGV Technician in this role will involve:

·Vehicle inspection, service and repair of HGV and PSV vehicles
·Preventative maintenance
·Completion of MOT prep
·Correct completion of job sheets and associated documentation
·Adherence to H+S procedures
HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / PSV Technician Requirements:

·Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanics
·Ability to problem solve around a vehicle and work under own initiative
·Basic electrical fault-finding skills as a minimum
·Experience working as an HGV technician on commercial vehicles - Will consider LCV experience
·City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum
