£33,000-34,000 + Overtime available at Time & half.

Shift Monday to Friday lates 3pm-12am.

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic required for a successful workshop in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Essential for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 or equivalent  
·Class 2 licence is essential
·A strong diagnostic background
·Main dealer experience where possible
