HGV TECHNICIAN

Salary of the HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic – £31,590 to £35,000 plus overtime at time and a half

Working Hours ot the HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic – Rotating shift system
Week 1: 6:00am to 2:30pm
Week 2: 8:00am to 5:00pm
Week 3: 2:00pm to 10:30pm

Location of the HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic - Cardiff

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic  required for a successful main dealer workshop.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic :
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of the HGV Technician / PSV Fitter / HGV Fitter / Mechanic / HGV Mechanic / Fleet Engineer / Diesel Mechanic:

·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience beneficial
