Location of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic: Coventry

Salary of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic: £30,000pa up to £34,000 BASIC per annum plus Alternate Saturdays at overtime, plus Weekday overtime opportunity, plus call outs (£14.00ph - £16.00ph basic)

Working hours of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic:
shit system 40 hours a week
06:00 - 14:00 week one
14:00 - 22:00 week two
Alternate Saturday mornings at overtime

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic required for a thriving workshop in Coventry.

This is an opportunity for a technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Fleet Maintenance Engineer / Fleet Engineer / Mechanic role:

·Level 3 or equivalent  
·Class 1 or 2 licence is an advantage
·Trailer experience
·Diagnostic experience
