Monday to Friday 42.5 hours

Motivated and enthusiastic LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Van Technician / HGV technician / HGV mechanic required for a successful and expanding workshop in Peterborough.

As a LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Van Technician / HGV technician / HGV mechanic you will need to service and repair vehicles in a safe and economical manner.

LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Van Technician / HGV technician / HGV mechanic

•Vehicle Inspections
•Cam Belt changes
•General Servicing
•Correction / repair of vehicle defects
•Engine / Gearbox repairs & overhauls
•MOT Preparation / Presentation
•Completion of all required paperwork
•Fault diagnosis

LCV Fitter / Van Mechanic / LCV Technician / Van Technician / HGV technician / HGV mechanic skills and experience:

•Required to work in busy workshop
•Must be conversant with current working methods, including MOT Preparation and vehicle diagnostics
•Experience working with Texa and SnapOn Modus diagnostic systems an advantage
•Experience of on-site inspections and attending breakdowns preferable
•Driving licence essential
•Someone who would like to do overtime would be a benefit for this role
•A flexible individual with a can do attitude
