£30,000pa up to £35,000pa dependant on experience

Motivated, driven HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Trailer Technician / Tanker Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic required for a thriving workshop located in Grays.

Duties & requirements for the successful HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / Trailer Technician / Tanker Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic:

·Ability to service, repair & maintain trailers to a high standard within the company guidelines. and to conform to all current mandatory & EHS legislation.
·To ensure all service documentation is completed in an accurate and timely manner.
·To report up to the Branch or Workshop Manager any defects relating to the tankers which could suggest a manufacturing issue with any of the components.
·To project a high customer service & corporate image at ALL times.
·NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
·Chassis inspections and repairs.
·Preparation for thorough pressure tests and rectification of any defects applicable.
·Trailer experience advantage
·Experience of gully suckers, vacuum tanks and recyclers would be beneficial but not necessarily essential.
·Experience and competence in Mig and Tig welding in both Steel and Ally also beneficial.
