Salary of the HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician: £34,000pa - £36,000pa - dependant on experience + Overtime

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Hours of the HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician: 07:30am - 17:30pm Monday to Friday and Alternate Saturdays 07:00am - 12:00pm

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician required for a new thriving workshop in Kent, Sittingbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed and legal information is produced
·Carry out welding and fabrication when required
·To attend broken or accident damaged vehicles as required
·To attend training courses as required
·To maintain work areas in a safe and clean condition

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / Heavy Vehicle Technician / Truck Technician / Mechanic / HGV Fitter / Diesel Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician:

·Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds or Similar recognised qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience is advantageous but training can be provided
·Welding is essential
