Location of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Fitter : Wincanton

Salary: £30,420 - £32,760 per annum plus overtime

Working hours of the HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Fitter : Monday to Friday - Flexible daytime hours to suit candidate


We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Fitter required for a busy workshop in Wincanton.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Fitter role involves:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection
·Diagnosing of vehicle faults
·Good housekeeping and H&S
·Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately

Required for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Diesel Fitter role:

·Level 2/3 or City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience is a benefit for this role
·Level 2 technicians will be considered for this role, or those that have no formal qualifications, as long as you have worked on HGV's then apply
