HGV TECHNICIAN

Salary – £25,000pa
Working Hours – 4 on 4 off. 8:00-20:30 with overtime at time & half
Location - Billingham

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic /  HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Trailer Technician is required for a successful workshop in Billingham.

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic /  HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Trailer Technician:

·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic /  HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician / Mechanic / Trailer Technician:

·City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance or
·Car Driving licence, LGV C + E licence beneficial but not essential
·Diagnostic experience and able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV Technician
·Experience carrying out Fault Diagnosis on a wide range of vehicles
