HGV TECHNICIAN

Location: Devon
Salary: £32,000 up to £36,000pa + OT at time and a half

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00am - 16:30pm (with overtime available on Friday afternoons, and an early Monday start and finish (6am to 3pm) on a rota basis)

Our client, one of the largest municipal fleet companies is looking to employ an HGV Technician due to an ever-expanding work load.

·Are you a level 3 HGV Technician?

The HGV technician role involves:

·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Desirable for this HGV Technician role:

·Level 3 or equivalent  
·Diagnostic experience
