HGV NIGHT TECHNICIAN
Salary – Between £34,000 - £36,500 (dependent upon experience, licenses etc) 
Working Hours – 40 Hours
Location - Wigan

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Night Technician / HGV Night Fitter / HGV Night Mechanic is required for a successful workshop.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HGV Night Technician / HGV Night Fitter / HGV Night Mechanic to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees. The role of the HGV Night Technician is to carry out all aspects of maintenance, including servicing, inspection, repairs, MOT preparation, breakdowns, diagnosis and any other workshop related task that could be reasonably expected.

Candidates must have to be able to carry out the following:

Responsibilities of a HGV Technician
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
·A high level of understanding of Legal Compliance and standards of Roadworthiness.
·Ensure workshop tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner to the required standard.
·Ability to work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
·Awareness of authorisation procedures regarding required repairs.
·Completion of inspection documents and job sheets/timesheets to the highest standard.
·Strong commitment to health and safety.
·Good communication ability to communicate with customers and employees of all levels, a 'can do attitude' and problem solving skills.

Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Technician
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
