OTE: £45,000pa-£50,000pa
HGV Mechanic job details
Basic Salary: £40,000 £44,000pa
Working Hours: Week 1 Monday-Friday 06:00-14:30, Week 2 13:30-22:00 + 1 in 2 Saturdays 07:00-12:00 paid at overtime rate
Location: Essex
Skilled & experienced HGV Mechanic is required for full time permanent vacancy.
For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
Responsibilities of a HGV Mechanic
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.
·Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.
Skills and Qualifications of a HGV Mechanic
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV licence is an advantage
·Diagnostic experience
