Job Role: DAY SHIFT HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
Working Hours: 06:00 - 18:30 - 4 on 4 off shift rotation
Depot Location: Chesterfield
Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role
Hourly rate:£20.60 basic rate + overtime
My client, a well-established HGV & Trailer maintenance business is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a 4 on 4 off day shift at their new site in Chesterfield.
Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake the following;
·Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
·Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
·General Servicing and MOT preparation
·Fault finding & diagnostics
·Updating all required paperwork / databases
The successful HGV Technician will have the following attributes;
·Hold full industry recognised qualifications
·Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
·To achieve the top rate of pay, you will have a class 1 HGV Driving licence. Those without a Class 1 Licence will receive an hourly rate of £20.20 per hour
