Up to £33,000 + available overtime

Motivated and Enthusiastic Workshop Manage required for a successful dealership in Newcastle.

My client requires additional staff to help meet the expectations of the business and its customers regarding exceptional levels of service and product knowledge

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanic looking to take their next steps to join a busy commercial workshop.

***You will need the Technical/ Auto electrical knowledge and background***

The Workshop Manager role involves:

·Oversee the daily running of the workshop, booking in of work and prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop.
·Ensuring Technicians carry out Routine PMI servicing and MOT Inspections in line with DVSA standards.
·Oversee Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to within the workshop.
·Housekeeping of the workshop areas.
·Parts ordering and monitoring of stock levels.
·Monitoring and control of workshop quality.
·Supervise workshop staff, including monitoring of timekeeping and productivity, authorising overtime, identifying training needs.
·Partially on tools / Partially office based


Required for this Commercial Workshop Manager role:

·Level 3 or Level 2 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV/LCV licence is an advantage
·Supervisor / Senior Mechanic/ Managerial experience within the commercial automotive industry
·Skill sets for Electrical and Gas installation and repairs.
