Commercial Panel Beater-Bexley
Salary – £37,000pa - £42,000pa depending on experience
Working Hours - 07:00AM- 17:00PM (1 HR LUNCH)
Location - Bexley
Our local engineering and body shop client is looking for Commercial Vehicle Body builders to join their team, working on specialist commercial vehicle builds for a wide range of high-profile clients.
Responsibilities of a Commercial Panel Beater :
·Understanding schematics to undertake new-build and vehicle conversions
·Using hand tools
·Working with steel, aluminium and wood will be required for this role
·Removal and refitting of interior and exterior trims, framework and panels
·Mechanical fitting and general metal work.
·Carry out warranty, transit damage and used commercial vehicle, van and car repairs using factory approved products and techniques
·Repairing damaged commercial vehicles in line with the manufacturer’s specifications
Skills and Qualifications of a Commercial Panel Beater:
You will have served a recognised apprenticeship as a Panel Beater and gained a technical qualification (such as NVQ / VCQ / SVQ / ATA) OR be time served.
You must have previous experience working as a Panel Beater within a busy body shop and be a strong team player with a self-motivation to earn bonus hours.

You will work to the highest standard and demonstrate a sound up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
