Working hours of the Auto Electrician:
45 hours per week

This a varied role working on vehicles and a specialist fleet.

We are looking for an Auto Electrician to join a thriving workshop and be part of a forward-thinking company that looks after their employees. Throughout you career you will have the opportunity of on going training and progression.

This HGV Auto Electrician role involves:
·Wiring of all associated electrical components on new commercial vehicles.
·To fault find and repair electrical components on new and old vehicles.
·To carry out electrical maintenance and function checks on new and old vehicles
·Attend electrical breakdowns of vehicles when required
·Assist field engineers with technical knowledge when required
·Liaise with the parts department to ensure the correct parts are ordered
·Accurate completion of any job cards, time sheets or any other vehicles documentation
·Ensure that standards are maintained relative to maintenance / cleanliness of vehicles
·Ensuring workload is prioritised and deadlines are met.
·Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed.

This Auto Electrician role Requires:
·Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified auto technician (Time served considered too)
·Full Driving licence
