Salary: £24,000 - £26,000
Hours: 36 Hours per week + Overtime

Motivated and Enthusiastic Commercial Auto Electrician required for a thriving workshop in Harrogate.

This is an opportunity for a Commercial Auto Electrician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the workshop and the service team.
My client needs someone who is driven, hardworking and has proven experience. In return you will work for a company that looks after its staff and have a fulfilling career.

The role is to work within the workshop dealing with auto electrics of commercial vehicles in a timely manner and within ministry standards, it's a busy workshop so plenty of opportunity.

The Commercial Auto Electrician involves: Installing, repairing, wiring, and maintaining of all electrical components found in different vehicles.

·Check what is necessary to bring vehicles up to their best working condition.
·You have to be technically knowledgeable in the use of equipment and machinery to do the job.
·Familiar with how wires work and how they have to be placed in a vehicle.
·Need to know the type of wiring techniques to utilize for the various components they work with.
·Electrical repair and diagnostics on LCV and HGV vehicles
·Must be good at testing equipment and the computers they use in mapping out electrical pathways and locating electronic problems or malfunctions in the system
·PSC Mechanical Skills and PSV Electrical knowledge desirable

Required for this Commercial Auto Electrician role:

·Level 3 (NVQ or IMI) or Time served  
· Electric commercial vehicle experience
·Driving License Class 1 or 2
·Diagnostic experience
