Job Role: Accounts Assistant

Due to rapid growth, an opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s leading automotive recruiters in the role of Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will join a small team and will help to maintain and support their finance processes, as well as taking responsibility for sales and purchase ledger, Invoice raising and reconciliations. The role will involve working with computerised systems and records and is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with existing accounts experience who can adopt a flexible approach in a fast-moving environment.

In this role, you will be predominantly responsible for:

·Raising invoices
·Sales ledger control
·Petty cash reconciliations
·General accounting duties to assistant the Financial Controller in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts.
Experience:
·Good excel, MS Office and Sage knowledge
·Experience of working with sales and purchase ledgers
·A high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
·Excellent communication skills, with strong verbal, listening and written abilities
··At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
·Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
