HGV WORKSHOP MANAGER
Location of the Workshop Manager: Bristol

Salary of the Workshop Manager: £37.500 - £40,000

Working hours of the Workshop Manager: 13:00PM - 21:00PM

Motivated and Enthusiastic HGV Workshop Manager required for a successful workshop in Bristol

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Mechanic to join a busy independent commercial workshop.
***This Role does not require you to be on the tools, however you may need to assist sometimes, and you will need the HGV Technical knowledge and background***
The Workshop Manager role involves:
·Oversee the daily running of the workshop, booking in of work and prioritising workload to meet customer needs, ensuring a steady flow of work through the workshop.
·Ensuring Technicians carry out Routine PMI servicing and MOT Inspections in line with DVSA standards.
·Oversee Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to within the workshop.
·Housekeeping of the workshop areas.
·Parts ordering and monitoring of stock levels.
·Monitoring and control of workshop quality.
·Supervise workshop staff, including monitoring of timekeeping and productivity, authorising overtime, identifying training needs.
Required for this Workshop Manager / Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Controller role:
·Level 3 or Level 2 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician
·HGV/LCV licence is an advantage
·Supervisor / Senior Mechanic experience
